About Nikki McHugh

Friendly and effervescent, Nikki is a true people person who understands the importance of forming relationships built on trust and integrity. She is intent on getting the best result for her clients each and every time, and enjoys nothing more than matching a person or family to the perfect property.

Nikki has a passion for the land and a strong rural background. She has farmed sheep and cattle on a small block for the last 20 years, and has developed several rural subdivisions. Her real estate experience doesn’t stop there, having bought a farm and several beachside properties, plus built an award winning home and managed rental properties.

Nikki brings with her vast experience in sales and enviable people skills gathered from selling swimming pools for the past fifteen years, as well as working in a variety of nursing roles in the Health Services over many years. Her decision to join Bayleys was based on the strength of the brand and quality of the service, as well as the incredible support and encouragement offered both within the Gisborne branch, and up to head office level. Valuing the teamwork and networking demonstrated by Bayleys, Nikki recognises that the success of the Gisborne team is the direct result of exclusive marketing tools and an unwavering commitment from her colleagues to achieve their clients’ goals.

Outside of the office, Nikki is involved in equestrian sports both locally and on a national level. She has been the Master of the Poverty Bay Hunt for some years. She is also on the New Zealand Hunts Association Management Team.
